Browse your brain by folder

The live dashboard's Pages tab shows the vault the way it is laid out on disk: spaces and their folders, each with a page count, and every page you are allowed to read.

Desktop

Two panes. The left tree (280px) lists folders with their page counts — click one to open or close it; the folder of the page you are reading stays expanded and the page is highlighted. The right pane is the reader: the note rendered as Markdown with live [[wikilinks]], a raw view, and Linked from / Links to under the body. Picking a page swaps only the reader, so the tree keeps its scroll and its open folders.

Phone

Below 900px the tree gives way to a breadcrumb listing: folders first, then pages, each sorted alphabetically. Tap a page to read it full width; the crumb at the top goes back.

Deep links

Every open page has an address: #page=<path> (for example #page=Company%2FHome.md). Copy the URL to cite the page; the dashboard opens it in the Pages tab with its folder expanded. The Query tab's #note= links still work and open there.

What you see is what you may read

The tree is built from the vault's index, not from the filesystem, and the index holds exactly the notes the compiler gave your slice. A page outside your permissions is not in your vault, not in your index, and not in the tree. If the tree is empty, the vault has not been indexed yet — run brain index.
